A delicate ivory French levers lace is skilfully cut and mounted on to an ivory silk taffeta corseted and boned bodice. Layer upon layer of misty tulle skirts culminate in a spectacular gown, with tulle train and hand covered silk buttons and rouleaux loop detail at the back. Degas can be worn with a beautiful lace bolero, made from French levers lace with elegant long sleeves, as seen in the photograph.
